event details

There are charities in England delivering CQC regulated activities that will be affected by this legal requirement coming into force by 1 April 2022, subject to Parliamentary approval. Charities operating within the scope of this requirement will need to prepare and be clear about what this means for their staff and volunteers as well as their service delivery.

To help with this, this event will bring together professionals from different disciplines, including HR and legal, to discuss some of the practical implications and share steps that charities can take to prepare. It will also be an opportunity for affected charities to come together to share their experiences.

Approximate timing are:

10.00: Welcome and introductions
10.05: Overview of the requirement
10.10: Sharing practical implications
10.45: Breakout rooms
11.05: Feedback and questions
11.25: Closing comments
