When setting up a charity, it’s important to choose the legal structure that suits the needs of your organisation.
This session will cover:
- the four legal structures with which you can register with the Charity Commission and the key differences between them:
- Charitable Trust
- Unincorporated association
- Charitable company
- Charitable Incorporated Organisation
- incorporated and unincorporated forms
- how the structure you choose will affect your operations, legal responsibilities and reporting requirements.
There will also be an opportunity for a question and answer session. Spaces for this session are limited to encourage more interaction.
