Good practice in volunteer management is key to unlocking the potential of volunteering in your organisation. This online course provides an introduction to the key principles of good practice in volunteer management and how to apply them to your organisation. This training will take place over two half days (10.00- 13.00) and you need to attend both days of the same course. Dates and Timings

This training will take place on Zoom and over two half days (10.00 -13.00) and you need to attend both days of the same course. We will send out the Zoom link with the joining instructions before the first session. 

July course 
Session 1:  Monday 11 July (10.00 until 13.00)
Session 2:  Wednesday 13 July  (10.00 until 13.00) 

August course 
Session 1:  Tuesday 2 August (10.00 until 13.00)
Session 2:  Thursday 4 August (10.00 until 13.00) 

September course 
Session 1:  Monday 19 September  (10.00 until 13.00)
Session 2:  Wednesday 21 September (10.00 until 13.00)

This course is aimed at those new to volunteer management and those who manage volunteers, as well as those who need a refresher.

WHO RUNS IT?

Jarina Choudhury is NCVO’s volunteering development consultancy officer. She has hands-on experience of managing volunteers from diverse backgrounds in a pan-London Big Lottery funded programme. She leads NCVO’s volunteer management training programme and delivers consultancy. She has trained voluntary and corporate sector organisations to develop and improve their approach to volunteering.
