Voluntary sector organisations need a strategy which is not just a plan on paper. The environment is changing rapidly and they need to be adaptable. Strategy is about the decisions organisations continue to take about direction, priorities, and resources. On this course, you will learn about the tools and processes that can help you to implement your strategy in a way that is right for your organisation.
This course is about prioritising and implementing a strategy once you have identified it. If you want to create a new strategy, take a look at our training course Strategic planning: creating the right process for your organisation.

By the end of the course you will have:

  • Increased awareness of how to be adaptable in a changing environment.
  • Greater knowledge of the different organisational roles and processes which support decision-making.
  • Have an understanding of how to use different strategy tools.
  • Explored how to communicate your strategy to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Leave with a roadmap for improving strategy implementation for your organisation.

Who should attend?

This course is designed for those involved with strategy, business planning, and organisational development. This course will support participants to develop processes within their organisation which support decision-making and communication around strategy. It is aimed at decision-makers, such as senior leaders, CEOs, chairs and trustees.
