This online course will help you understand and analyse the current funding situation of your organisation and teach you how to plan for the future. We’ll use key strategic tools, a funding strategy template (that you’ll adapt and tailor) and help you consider various sources of funding that are most suitable for your organisation including looking at diversification.
We’ve redesigned this face-to-face training specifically for online delivery, to ensure your learning needs are met though interactive, live sessions with knowledgeable trainers.

OUTCOMES

By the end of the day you will:

  • feel confident analysing your funding portfolio
  • fully grasp the income spectrum
  • have identified which sources of funding are most suitable for your organisation
  • have considered where you could diversify and how you could approach it
  • have a clear understanding of the key components of a funding strategy.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND?

This course is aimed at people responsible for funding in small and medium-sized charities. It is best suited to those who have responsibility for developing a funding strategy and those seeking to diversify their income.

It is useful if  you already have an understanding of the key principles of fundraising and we recommend you do the key principles of fundraising in the voluntary sector course first.

This was an incredibly useful training session, it has given us a framework and some tools to start tackling our funding strategy without fear! Peterborough Rape Crisis
