- different approaches to monitoring and evaluating funded work
- what information it is reasonable and feasible to ask for from funded projects
- principles of good practice in impact assessment and reporting
- what to consider in order to set up an appropriate and proportionate monitoring and evaluation system.

This course is designed for funders, commissioners and grant makers. If you’re a funder who wants to improve assessing the outcomes and impact of the projects you fund, this course for you.
Who runs it?
This course will be run by one of our consultants from NCVO Charities Evaluation Service
. The team work with more than 1,000 voluntary organisations and funders each year, providing practical support through self and independent evaluation, impact consultancy and organisational development.
The training will run from 09.45 until 16.30.
